FER-H2DV Hydrogen leak Detector

The FER-H2DV uses the non-flammable gas combination of 5% H2 and 95% N2 as a tracer gas. It is an extremely sensitive, safe and environmentally friendly leak detection device. This unit is more cost effetive than a Helium system and features a durable semiconductor sensor with special filter and smart detection system with built-in mechanical filter and digital filter.

Why use H2 + N2 mix gas?

• H2 is 1/15ths lighter than air and will rapidly diffuse
• The viscosity of H2 is more cost effective than Helium and will not clog or sit on the surface
• 5% H2 and 95% N2 is a non-flammable gas (ISO 1056:1990)
• H2 only exists 0.5ppm in the background, as compared to Helium which exists 5ppm
