FER-H2DS Hydrogen Leak Detector

Using H2 + N2 as a tracer gas, the FER-H2DS is an extremely sensitive leak detection device. This unit is more cost effective than a Helium system. The benefits of using H2 + N2 mix is because:

• H2 is 1/15ths lighter than air and will rapidly diffuse
• The viscosity of H2 is more cost effective than Helium and will not clog or sit on the surface
• 5% H2 and 95% N2 is a non-flammable gas (ISO1056:1990)
• H2 only exists 0.5ppm in the background, as compared to Helium which exists 5ppm

The FER-H2DS feature a newly developed durable semiconductor with special filter and smart detection system with built-in mechanical and digital filter.
